Larry's Ham Recipe with Coke

Delicous Baked Ham in Coke

Ingredients:
One un-sliced, bone-in, 1/2 ham (shank end)
Glaze:
1 cup dark brown sugar
1/3 cup Dijon mustarg
1/4 cup whole grain mustard
2 tsp. maple flavoring
3/4 cup orange and/or pinapple juice
Add chili paste for spicy taste if desired
Enough Coke to raise Coke level to 1/2"
around Ham in baking dish

Directions:
* Let ham stand at room temperature for about 1.5 hours
* Mix all glaze ingredienets aboe except Coke to create glaze
* Place ham cut side down in baking dish and brush with glaze
* Add enough Coke around ham to raise level of Coke to about 1/2" around ham
* Cover ham tighly with foil
* Bake at 325 degrees for about 2-3 hours until ham center reaches 110 degrees
* Remove foil, bake an additional 30 minutes at 450 degrees while basting frequently with glaze
* Remove from oven, cover with foil again allowing ham to rest for 30 minutes prior to carving
